Position Summary
Responsible for overall leadership of the Perham Living campus, which includes a 96-bed nursing home, two senior housing buildings, assisted living, home care, adult day services, and other services for seniors and children.
Part of the senior leadership team of Perham Health, a rural health continuum providing acute care, ambulatory care, retail services and senior services in East Otter Tail County.
Responsible for providing leadership, staff development, budgeting and management of key services in accordance with all federal and state regulations that govern long-term care facilities.
Participates in strategic planning and develops operational plans to accomplish strategic goals set by the board.
Serves as the licensed nursing home administrator and must be familiar with and a strong advocate of culture change and the household model of care.
Demonstrates the ability to recruit and retain high quality staff with a positive work environment.
Initiates and/or participates in the development of new business ventures and/or service delivery options.
Develops and maintains community relationships as it relates to the continuum of service.
Position Requirements
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a health related degree. Must have a minimum of five years' experience as a licensed nursing home administrator with proven leadership skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
Possess an active nursing home administrator's license in Minnesota, or have the ability to obtain a Minnesota license.
Must be able to pass Background Study through the Minnesota Department of Human Services.

Work Schedule:
Generally, Monday Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some evenings and weekends.
