Position Summary
The Nursing Assistant Registered (NA/R) is a professional who:
Performs resident care under the direct supervision of the professional nursing staff.
Provides resident hygiene, comfort measures for residents, assistance with mobilization and transportation, contributing to resident assessment, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Participates in the care of adults and geriatric patients.
Works as a member of a team in our Household model of care.
Position Requirements
The Nursing Assistant must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be a registered Nursing Assistant by the State of Minnesota; be able to effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing; have good interpersonal skills; be able to work as a contributing team member, and demonstrate a stable work history and excellent attendance/punctuality. Must be 18 years of age or older.
Work Schedule Information
Full time (60 hours per pay period), part time, and Roster positions. Days, Evening or Overnight shifts; 8 or 12 hour shifts.
Full time position includes: health, dental, paid time off, retirement plan, life and long term disability insurances.
Part time position includes: paid time off accrual
Pay Range
Base Rate equals $13.41 per hour to $14.59 per hour depending on prior work experience as a Nursing Assistant.
Plus $1.00 per hour additional for Evening Shift Premium, or $1.50 per hour additional for Night Shift Premium.
Employment Start
Must be able to complete orientation and begin regular work schedule between May 1, xxxx, and August 2, xxxx.
