Position Summary:
The Housing Coordinator is a blended role professional who:
Is primarily responsible in housing services and activities.
Enhances the resident's quality of life working closely with the Resident Assistant staff.
Has 24-hour responsibility for the non-clinical functions of the household.
This position meets expectations outlined in the Universal Standards for all household staff.
Position Requirements:
The Household Coordinator must have a minimum of 5 years experience in long-term care. Experience in social services or activities are preferred. The H.C. must demonstrate leadership abilities to develop and motivate people; possess good critical thinking and problem solving skills; exhibit the ability to prioritize responsibilities; be flexible and able to work under stressful situations; possess good verbal and written communication skills (English); be self-directed and work autonomously; and have the necessary management skills to plan for and oversee the utilization of resources and the design of work processes.
Must be able to pass Background Study through the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
Work Schedule Information:
Full-time, 80 hours per bi-weekly pay period.
