Xerzone Coach
Promote healthy lifestyles by teaching proper exercise techniques, healthy food choices, and lifestyle choices.
Conduct Presidential Fitness Testing.
Greet and sign-in children and families when they enter the Xerzone.
Interact with patrons (mostly youth) through one-on-one or group activities using fitness equipment, activity games, or interactive gaming.
Assist other YMCA programs such as Wheels to Wellness and Lego Club.
Responsible for keeping the Xerzone clean and organized.
Active position - you will be on your feet most of the time.
Service Contract:
Willing to commit to fulfilling a Service Agreement of 18 hours/week (total of 900 service hours) during September 1st, xxxx - August 31st, xxxx.
Schedule flexibility in the days and the times between the hours of 4:00pm-9:00pm Mon-Fri 9:00am-4:00pm Sat & Sun. Summer shifts available between the hours of 9:00am-9:00pm Mon-Fri and 9:00am-4:00pm Sat & Sun.
Receive $xxxx living stipend & a $xxxx Education Award!
Must be at least 17 years old.
55+ year old Members may gift the Education Award to a child or grandchild.
Must have a high school diploma, GED, or must be currently working on completing your high school diploma or GED.
Within 3 months of hire: complete 12 hours of basic child care training.
Within 3 months of hire: become certified in CPR and First Aid.
