Nobody reads scripts in Hollywood when they can skim a Reader's Report while chatting on the phone with their mistress and thinking about getting in nine holes (of golf).
Many script services offer the writer coverage in the form of a reader's report. What is this? They give you a breakdown of your script that includes story, plot, structure, character, dialogue, a synopsis, and a character list.
But you as the writer don't need a synopsis and a listing of your characters. If you do, then how did you write a screenplay without characters and a roadmap on where you were going? And that's what makes up the bulk of a reader's report. This is something for a producer, executive, agent, or manager. This sort of coverage is mainly useless to you as a writer. You may get a couple pages of notes that are marginally helpful.
What I offer is comprehensive notes of your screenplay (aka Development Notes). I also give general notes along with story, plot, character, dialogue, description, structure, and suggest improvements in all areas. I even rewrite a bit of description and dialogue here and there to give an example on how it can be improved.
I'll point out passive voice, the use of subtext, sub-plots that need help, characters that need developing, weakness in conflict, tonal problems, etc. I'll tell you what I like and don't like. If your action or dialogue needs work, I'll rewrite a few examples to show you how I would do it.
